The Afters – Battles

This current is trying to wreck me
Like castles of sand
Castles of sand

My fear like an enemy army
Is marching again
But I’m making a stand

You surround me on every side
Your love is my armor, I fear no evil
Darkness runs from Your light
So I won’t be afraid
I won’t be afraid

You’re going before me and oceans are parting
You’re fighting my battles
When my feet are failing and my heart is shaking
You’re fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles

Time after time You’re my refuge
You heal evey scar
You’re guarding my heart
Your promise the hope that I cling to
My rescue, my friend
You come rushing in

And surround me on every side
Your love is my armor, I fear no evil
Darkness runs from Your light
So I won’t be afraid
I won’t be afraid

You’re going before me and oceans are parting
You’re fighting my battles
When my feet are failing and my heart is shaking
You’re fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles

Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles

In my weakness, You are strong
Every trouble, You have overcome

In my weakness, You are strong
Every trouble, You have overcome

In my weakness, You are strong
Every trouble, You have overcome
Your have overcome

You’re going before me and oceans are parting
You’re fighting my battles
When my feet are failing and my heart is shaking
You’re fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles

Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles
Fighting my battles

(Fighting my battles)
(Fighting my battles)
(Fighting my battles)

Maurice White is dead

I didn’t know Maurice White untill his death. But I knew the group earth wind and fire.Maurice White was the founder of Earth wind and fire. White was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the late 1980s, which led him eventually to stop touring with Earth, Wind & Fire in 1994. He retained executive control of the band, and remained active in the music business.

Here is boogie wonderland maybe the most song of earth wind and fire in the disco age in 1979

Boney M. – Rivers of Babylon

1978 Boney M sing Rivers of Babylon. This song is issued of the Bible Psalm 137. Actualy this is a sad poem but Boney M Change it into joyfull song

By the rivers of babylon, there we sat down
Ye-eah we wept, when we remembered zion.By the rivers of babylon, there we sat down
Ye-eah we wept, when we remembered zion. When the wicked
Carried us away in captivity
Required from us a song
Now how shall we sing the lord’s song in a strange landWhen the wicked
Carried us away in captivity
Requiering of us a song
Now how shall we sing the lord’s song in a strange land

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah let the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart
Be acceptable in thy sight here tonight

Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts
Be acceptable in thy sight here tonight

By the rivers of babylon, there we sat down
Ye-eah we wept, when we remembered zion.

By the rivers of babylon, there we sat down
Ye-eah we wept, when we remembered zion.

By the rivers of babylon (dark tears of babylon)
There we sat down (you got to sing a song)
Ye-eah we wept, (sing a song of love)
When we remember zion. (yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)

By the rivers of babylon (rough bits of babylon)
There we sat down (you hear the people cry)
Ye-eah we wept, (they need their god)
When we remember zion. (ooh, have the power)

Switchfoot – Love Alone Is Worth The Fight

I’m trying to find where my place is
I’m looking for my own oasis
So close I can taste this
The fear that love alone erases

So I’m back to the basics
I figure it’s time I face this
Time to take my own advice

Love alone is worth the fight
Love alone is worth the fight

And I never thought it’d come to this
But it seems like I’m finally feeling numb to this
The funny thing about a name is
You forget what the reason you were playing the game is

And it’s all an illusion
A 21st century institution
So I’m headed down the open road unknown

And we find what we’re made of
Through the open door
Is it fear you’re afraid of?
What are you waiting for?

Love alone is worth the fight
Love alone is worth the fight

We’re only here for a season
I’m looking for the rhyme and reason
Why you’re born, why you’re leaving
What you fear and what you believe in

Why you’re living and breathing
Why you’re fighting it and getting it even
Let’s go headed down the open road unknown

And we find what we’re made of
Through the open door
Is it fear you’re afraid of?
What are you waiting for?

Love alone is worth the fight
Love alone is worth the fight

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh! Oh!

Here we are, here we go
Where the road is our own
Hear it calling you home
Here we are, here we go!

Love alone is worth the fight
Love alone is worth the fight
Love alone is worth the fight
Love alone is worth the fight
Love alone is worth the fight

Awake My Soul Chris Tomlin

Breathe on me, breath of God, breathe on me
Breathe on me, breath of God, breathe on me
I come alive, I’m alive when you breathe on me
I come alive, I’m alive when you breathe on me

[Chorus:]
Awake, awake, awake my soul,
God resurrect these bones
From death to life, through you alone
Awake my soul

Speak to me, word of God, speak to me
Speak to me, word of God, speak to me
I come alive, I’m alive when you speak to me
I come alive, I’m alive when you speak to me

[Chorus:]
Awake, awake, awake my soul,
God resurrect these bones
From death to life, through you alone
Awake my soul

Then He said to me,
Prophesy to these bones and say to them,
Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones,
I will make breath enter you,
And you will come to life.
So I prophesied as I was commanded.
As I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound,
And the bones came together, bone to bone.
And I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them,
And skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
Then He said to me,
Prophesy to the breath,
Prophesy, son of man, and say to it,
Conjure the four winds of breath and breathe.

[Chorus:]
Awake, awake, awake my soul,
God resurrect these bones
From death to life, through you alone
Awake my soul

Awake, awake, awake my soul,
God resurrect these bones
From death to life, through you alone
Awake my soul

Yeah, I’m not alone, I realize
I breathe out, I come alive
Your word gives life to my dry bones
Your breath tells death it can ride on
Awake me, make me a living stone,
A testament to your throne, I
I’m nothing without you, I’m on my own
The only one who satisfies my soul

I need a miracle Third Day

Well, late one night, she started to cry and thought, « He ain’t coming home »
She was tired of the lies, tired of the fight, but she didn’t want to see him go
She fell on her knees and said, « I haven’t prayed since I was young
But Lord above, I need a miracle »

Well no matter who you are and no matter what you’ve done
There will come a time when you can’t make it on your own
And in your hour of desperation
Know you’re not the only one
Prayin’, « lord above, I need a miracle
I need a miracle »

He lost his job and all he had in the fall of ’09
Now he feared the worst, that he would lose his children and his wife
So he drove down deep into the woods and thought he’d end it all
And prayed, « Lord above, I need a miracle »

Well no matter who you are and no matter what you’ve done
There will come a time when you can’t make it on your own
And in your hour of desperation
Know you’re not the only one
Prayin’, « lord above, I need a miracle
I need a miracle »

La dda dda dda
La dda dda dda
La dda dda dda
Wooooooooah!
La dda dda dda
La dda dda dda
La dda dda dda
Wooooooooah!

He turned on the radio to hear a song for the last time
He didn’t know what he was looking for, or even what he’d find
The song he heard gave him hope and strength to carry on
And on that night they found a miracle
They found a miracle

La dda dda dda
La dda dda dda
La dda dda dda
Wooooooooah!

And in your hour of desperation
Know you’re not the only one
Prayin’, « lord above, I need a miracle »

« Lord above, I need a miracle »
